Pick up Dalton?

Postby outsideoftime » Tue Sep 20, 2011 10:55 pm

14 teams Yahoo H2H
Standard scoring... 4pt QB TD 6pt all other TD, Return yard count

Ok my team is a mess...my first round pick was Jamaal Charles...enough said. My quarterback punctured a lung last week as well. Please help me out:)

1. Should I pick up QB Andy Dalton?
2. Should I trade my two TE's in for Celek?

My current team

QB Tony Romo
WR Brandon Marshall
WR A.J. Green
RB Peyton Hillis
RB C.J. Spiller
TE Jeff King
FLEX Dexter McCluster
FLEX Jacoby Ford
K David Akers
DEF New England

Bench Options- QB Jason Freeman, RB C.J. Spiller, RB Troy Helu, RB Carnell Williams, WR Randall Cobb, TE Todd Heap

I picked up Helu and Williams to compensate for losing Charles, but I really hope Buffalo will just give Spiller the ball more. I picked up King because I apparently had the wrong Arizona TE. Though I fear if I start King in week 3, Heap will go off.

So should I just dump both TE's and grab Celek or Evan Moore?
Should I pick up Dalton to cover Romo?
Should I grab Amendola he's a F.A. because of his injury?

Thanks for the advice all!

If I drop both TE's for Moore then I can grab Dalton for good measure.

If Romo is not playing I like Dalton vs SF better than Freeman vs Atlanta

I agree with Shaman and like the Moore idea as well...I also think Freeman would work this week if Romo does not go!

i'd look at what wrs are on the wire ... any of the following would be good adds IMO: wither nelson (GB or Buf), D. moore (oak), E.Decker. still wouldn't worry about qb situation until friday.

Strongly agree you should pick up Moore over those two. Wait a bit longer for Romos updates (you wouldnt want to spend a waiver on Dalton anyway), then make your decision on Dalton. Definitely get Moore though, and I'd pass on Amendola for now, as well.

WR David Nelson is available. Decker and Moore are on the 1st place team:)

Ok drop Heap and King, pick up Evan Moore and David Nelson?

Start Nelson over Spiller, with mcCluster at the 2nd RB?

By the way Dalton wouldn't cost me a waiver. He is a F.A. We have unlimited moves.
