Vernon Davis is my starter right now and he has scored a whopping total of 5 points for me so far this season.

Do I pickup Fred Davis?
Here is my bench: Reggie Bush, Jonathan Stewart, Nate Burleson, Devery Henderson, Lance Moore.

Do I drop Moore after picking up Fred Davis?
Is it worth holding on to Vernon Davis?

I'm in the same spot as you. I just picked up Fred Davis off the wire, and will be starting him without hesitation until Vernon & the 49ers offense gets rolling.

I'm also interested in knowing if you're gonna hold on to Vernon (bench), cut someone else and get a new TE.. Or if you would just cut Vernon for a new TE?

I'd like to pick up F. Davis if I were you, but I don't see anyone I'd like to drop on your team. Any potential trades on the horizon? Maybe do a 2 for 1 upgrade, then pick up Fred Davis to fill the open spot?

Yea, same here! Ive had Vernon as my starter as well, and he hasnt produced shit! I dropped my backup Pettigrew and picked up Fred Davis off the wire and Im starting him this week! I want to keep Vernon just in case he finally gets into his groove, cause when he's getting looks, he is very productive!
