i know some might find this question a no brainer but i need some help, Vick or Newton, Vick is comming off a concusionand going against the head hunting D line in NY, i fear he might not be his normal self, i also think the eagles wont let him do alot of runnning right now to protect their HUGE investment, . On the other hand newton has out scored Vick two weeks strait and is about to go up against a terrible Jaguars Defense. this is a dilema for me. any advise would help.

Sometimes FF is about taking chances and picking matchups. If Vick had not been hurt I would say definately roll with him. In the current situation I think the matchup alone and what Newton has shown he could do against a GB defense that gets pressure makes him the better play this week. He may not get 30+, but I think he scores 20+ easily. If Vick actually does play against the G-men does he even make it through the entire game????? I couldn't afford losing out on those points if he didn't, could you?

Oddly, Newton is the safer bet here. But his top end potential for this game isn't as high as Vick's. Vick had one of his best games last year against the Giants D (40 pts).

Pay attention to the injury report, if he's limited in practice i'd go with Newton. But if they let his loose this week, i'd go with Vick.
