The trade that was offered was Gates and Deangelo Williams for Shonn Green and Darren Sproles. Punt/Kick return yards are factored in so is PPR. My running backs have cost me two games already this year. Would you do this trade? KEEP IN MIND, I STILL HAVE TWO GOOD TE's LEFT
I WILL HELP IN RETURN. JUST LEAVE A LINK

I don't love it. Gates is the best player in the deal IMO. I don't see the RB that you're getting back solving your RB situation. You can definitely afford to move Gates, I would just look for a better deal with a RB that doesn't have so many question marks about him.

I have to agree....your RB situation is still about the same. You can do much better for Gates
The problem is I have tried. No one else even put in an offer for Gates. We have a 12 team league and most people dont want another TE or dont want to give up any high profile player for a TE. I have been trying all week and this was the only offer I was able to get.
I also dont want to get stuck getting nothing either. So far I have not broke 100 points in the first two weeks. I projected points that both guys scored and I would have won both weeks had I started the season with that roster. This is why I am stuck.
Maybe if you posted the other teams and the specific rules of the league it would help us. If you have Gates, Davis, and Keller on your roster, I have to imagine there are guys out there who don't have legit week to week tight ends. Remove Witten's owner, gronks owner, and finleys owner and show us the others if you have time to do it. That will make it easier to help find you a direction.
Funny you should mention that. The guy that offered the trade has Witten on his team too. People in our league value RB and WR much more and wont want to deal them for a TE, doesnt matter who it is. I can get a lower tear running back, but Im not getting any major stud player back in his place.
I will try to post the other rosters later on. Headed out to work now. Thanks for the help everyone.
Well after spending almost a week, and offering trades to all teams in the league, the response has all been the same. No one is willing to trade a top RB for any TE. No matter how good Gates is, no one wants a TE. My only two offers are as follows:
1- Gates and DeAndelo Williams for Shonn Greene and Darren Sproles 2- Gates for James Starks
Is my team better the way it is, or with the first trade offer?
might have something to do this year's TE is deep and mostly like to find a decent TE through waiver wire, therefore, TE upgrade become less significant.
back to topic, what's your starting position? 2RB 3WR, then pick Starks start with Starks, Helu, Harvin, Holmes and Henderson
2RB 2WR 1flex pick Starks start with Starks, Helu, Harvin, Holmes and Henderson
3RB 2WR pick Greene and Sprole start with Greene, Sprole, Helu, Holmes and Henderson
see if you can grab both trade by trade Davis and Gates.
i am curious, how many teams in your league and what kind trade did you do before this one? i am not understanding how come you didn't have any stud player except Rivers, and even he is number 5 at best.
