Trade thingy involving Blount and Bowe (WHIR 100%)

Postby mjhhiv » Wed Sep 21, 2011 7:47 pm

So, I'm looking at something involving trading my Dwayne Bowe for his LeGarrette Blount. Lots of variations have been discussed, but that looks like the only thing I would reasonable consider/get accepted. Should I do it? If no, are there any other variations here that could reasonably help my team? He likes Bowe, Steve Smith, and V-jax.

League is standard scoring 12 team, no PPR.

My team:
Cam Newton (QB)
Andre Johnson (WR)
Vincent Jackson (WR)
MJD (RB)
Beanie Wells (RB)
Jermichael Finley (TE)
Dwayne Bowe (wr/rb)
D/ST: 49ers
K: Bryant
Bench:
Shonn Greene
Cedric Benson
Steve Smith (CAR)
Eli Manning
Roy Williams
Andre Roberts

His team:
Josh Freeman
Blount
Darren McFadden
Dez Bryant
Knowshon
Jason Witten
(and irrelevant pieces)

Anything worth picking out of there? Know it's complicated -- WHIR 100%, like I said. I think really the only piece that makes sense for me to move right now is Greene and he obviously wants WRs, but I'd like to hear opinions just the same.

I'm not a big fan; with your team I might just stand pat at the moment since you seem to be set at most every position. Yes, KC is going to be unexpectedly awful, but that could end up being good for Bowe since they are going to be throwing much more than expected.

^^
More or less what I'm thinking. Anyone have input on a Steve Smith/Shonn Greene for Blount/Dez Bryant move?

I dunno. I like whoever is getting Blount/Bryant. Bryant is a beast. Doesn't matter who he is matched up with and Blount = Greene in terms of stats. I like that trade.

I would do that trade, Blount would be a nice upgrade over Green and Bryant will continue to put up good numbers in that offense.

If somebody offered you that, I want you to stop typing and hit accept. . . like right now.

As far as the Bowe for Blount . . . I'd do that as well. Although I might try to move Greene for a decent backup WR. I am not a huge Greene fan this year. Blount has already shown what he can do. Greene hasn't in over a full season. I don't see why that would change this year. Tomlinson is old, but the dude still plays, and is the more versatile back.
