I was offered BenJarvus Green-Ellis - WHIR!

Postby RAMFantasyFootball » Wed Sep 21, 2011 11:29 pm

I was offered Green-Ellis for Jason Campbell. Now, obviously, BGE is more valuable than Campbell, but should I make the trade? I'm very weak at QB to begin with (I drafted Peyton).

My roster:
QB - Bradford, Campbell, Dalton
WR: VJax, Boldin, Burleson, Davone Bess, Antonio Brown
RB: R. Rice, Tolbert, Roy Helu
TE: S. Chandler, Ed Dickson

You're pretty weak at RB as well, and I think Dalton is going to be quite serviceable. Campbell for BJGE is a good deal for ya there.

Looks pretty weak across the board. Is this a 14- 16 team league or something? I would do this trade I like Bradford as a starting QB and Dalton is a decent bye week backup. But don't expect a ton of production out of Green-Ellis. I try to avoid those Pats RB's like the plague. Way to few opportunities and they can vanish week to week when you need them most.

help on mine?

It's a 16-team league. I've had much better drafts. lol

I feel like I should sell high on Campbell. I mean, he wasn't even on my roster until today. He has 39 points compared to Dalton's 28 and Bradford's 20, but that's because he has two rushing TD's. That trend shouldn't continue.

Green-Ellis only has 104 rushing yards, but has scored a TD in both games so far and I can see that happening on a consistent basis, especially in that offense that just moves down the field. Plus, he'll probably sit on my bench, so worse case scenario is I trade BGE for a QB or TE eventually.

I think BGE is a great return on Campbell. He can help you at RB right away, while who knows what Campbell's gonna give you week to week.
