Drop Brandon Pettigrew for Jeff King?

Postby RAMFantasyFootball » Thu Sep 22, 2011 4:50 am

Is this guy legit? I'm hesitant because I was really high on Pettigrew going into the season, but King has played great. My only concern is Todd Heap. With him there, will King be able to keep up this production on a consistent basis?

Jeff King seems like a sneaky play this week, but I don't think he's worth dropping Pettigrew over... at least not yet.
Pettigrew still has upside playing for an explosive offense and he's probably the 2nd red-zone target for the Lions.

I know Pettigrew still has a ton of upside, but if I don't act on King now, I may miss out on him altogether. I put a waiver claim on him next week, I'll be last in line for waivers so anyone who wants him before me will get him for sure.
