Well obviously Bradford and Henne both aren't facing the Browns, I think you meant to say Ravens for Bradford. Henne probably has the best matchup, but I don't trust him after a fluky Week 1 as he predictably came back down to earth last week. Cutler has been terrible, has been sacked a ton, and it's GB's defense. I know Bradford is facing BAL, but he has the most talent out of this bunch. Besides, if Hasselbeck and Britt can light up the BAL D, why can't Sam?
Bradford or Henne... Nervous about Baltimore, but i THINK that Jackson will be back out there so hopefully the running game will open up a little more space for the Bradford. Henne seems to be pretty inconsistent... if you think your behind vs your matchup this week I would consider starting Henne.
Thanks for the help with mine. I would normally say something like "GB will rack up points, Bears have to throw to keep up, blah, blah, blah"....but I'm not even sure Cutler will last four quarters if they don't start protecting him better. And fwiw, the Bears D held the Packers to 17 and 10 points in their two regular season games last year, so it might not be an aerial circus anyway. That leaves Bradford and Henne. I actually think Bradford doesn't have a bad matchup - the Ravens will bring pressure, but their corners are beatable. Would feel better about it if he had Amendola to relieve pressure when they blitz, but I think I still like him better than Henne, who's just shown a whole lot of ordinary. Bradford is my pick here. Good luck!
for those of you thinking Bradford is the best matchup this week ... how do you feel their running back situation will affect him? Cadillac seems to have a hurt hammy and hasnt practiced yet this week, so its looking glim that he will play.
as of now, Im thinking its a tossup between Cutler & Bradford. They are both playing high scoring offenses. They are both playing defenses that let up a bunch of passing yards. The only difference that I can see is that Bears have a decent running game, but the Rams are stuggling in that department, and might be struggling even more if Cadillac doesnt play due to his hamstring.
I agree that this is a toss up between Cutler and Bradford. After watching Bradford on monday night I wasn't too impressed. He will be great but something was still missing. I would go with Cutler for no particular reason other that it is Green Bay they are playing, it will be a huge game for the Bears. Also I think that Bears' game plan to run the ball more will not hurt Cutler. He won't be so tired of throwing 50+ passes and I think he can feel little less pressure to win the game with his arm. I'd say at least 2-3 TD passes for Cutler tomorrow!
