I am in a league where most teams own at least two TEs and after I was scooped on the waiver wire this week trying to get Keller, I am worried about the thinned out talent. I only have Graham on my team and would like a decent back up for bye week and injury issues.
Is it too early to give up hope on Harvin (or maybe Moreno, though I prefer not to and pick up a back up before all talent is gone after week 3. Currently here are the names on FA list worth mentioning. Fred Davis, Dickson, Jeff King, and Scheffler. Please take a look at my roster below and I appreciate your comments and will return the favor.
NFL standard non-PPR scoring, 10-teams
QB Romo, Fitzpatrick RB Turner, Mendenhall, Hillis, Moreno WR VJackson, Welker, Marshall,Bryant, Harvin, McCluster TE Graham K Rackers D varies

Thus far, Fred Davis looks great. Could be worth picking him up - but if i had to drop either Moreno or Harvin? Tough question... but at first glance I'd say Harvin (for now, unless he starts to see more snaps).
Harvin's value depends on how good McNabb does, and I wouldn't rely on that right now. Plus they're monitoring is playing time to prevent injuries game to game. If anything drop him. Btw I can't see ur roster
Right now I like Fred Davis* and Jeff King over Scheffler or Dickson.
Drop Harvin and pick up Davis. This is a tough one becuase I see Harvin and Moreno doing well by season's end. BUt I like keep RBs and MOreno has a ton of upside and as one poster already said Harvins success depends on McNabb which isn't too promising right now.
Top TE out there is Davis, however I would personally need to see a larger body of work before I buy into him. I would hold off on picking up a TE.
See what happens with McCluster (who may prove to be a stinker), Harvin, and Moreno before you make a decision. All three of these players have large upsides and could prove to be valuable in the trade market. Watch the Waiver TEs for another week and try to gauge who is for real before you pull the trigger.
