My league is on NFL.com and I just picked up David Nelson this week on the waiver wire, which I'm stoked about, but all week he's been projected to score 0 points. Now, I don't put much stock in their "projections" (sometimes they are downright ridiculous), but I find it hard to believe that NFL thinks a guy who just moved up to slot receiver in a high-powered offense going against Tom Brady won't even get one catch. Any other Nelson owners on NFL wondering about this?

No, he just slipped through the cracks. I'm sure they will have projections for him soon enough.

If I've learned nothing over my fantasy football years it's that the Yahoo/Fleaflicker projections mean NOTHING.

LOL thanks all, I figured as such. I'll probably have to keep him in my WR2 slot until Miles Austin comes back.

Don't leave ESPN out! They are pretty darned horrible as well ;-D

Yeah, those projections don't mean anything. I picked this guy up in both my leagues, and have him starting in place of injured Austin and Floyd in one, and in place of Manningham and Felix Jones in another. I'm guessing about 90 yards and good chance for a TD. or at least i really hope... :-D

most of the big providers dont update their projections throughout the year. yahoo does a decent job, but i know espn does not. they just plug them in during the preseason and let them roll all year round
