Vernon Davis @ Cinci or Tony Gonzalez @ Tampa Bay

Gonzalez had a great week last week and scored 20 more points than Davis did whom I started. Looking around, everyone says to start Davis. But Gonzalez has the hot hand right now.

Who should I start?

Apparently Vernon Davis talked to the coaches about his role because he felt he wasn't getting enough targets.

Vernon Davis met with coach Jim Harbaugh this week to discuss his role.
Davis vented about being used primarily as a blocker and decoy in last week's overtime loss to the Cowboys. "I had on my mind some things I felt we could've done better," Davis said Wednesday. "And I pointed them out to him, as far as getting everybody involved -- I mean, everybody, all the playmakers that we have." Davis should be more of a route-runner against the Bengals this week, especially with Braylon Edwards (knee) out. He's our No. 7 fantasy tight end.

Very tough choice though. You either have the risky pick with the higher ceiling in Vernon Davis, or the safe pick Tony Gonzalez that just came off a huge game.
