ya know... I don't actually use it to set my line-ups, but all of this guesswork as to who is going to have *the best* week isn't too far from just running random number generators... I mean, all you need in this case is for Boldin to break a couple of passes and Blake to sneak the ball into the endzone... and you've got yourself 3td and about 250-300 passing yards... not great, but certainly within the realm of possibility...
anyway... I am sure there is prognosticator software out there that takes into account all the relevant stuff and I am sure that some small fraction of the time (oooh... about 0.5% or so, maybe less) it would come out with jeff blake as the answer... in my version the probability of any one particular player being selected is 1/128, or thereabouts.
