Which RB to grab off the waivers? WHIR 100%

Postby twes » Fri Sep 23, 2011 11:37 pm

Most owners in my league have been rejecting every trade offer, and are protecting their handcuffs for at least another few weeks. My only option is to find an RB off the waivers to start until Foster gets healthy.

My options are: Tomlinson, M. Bush, McCluster.

I also have Marshawn Lynch who I could start but am reluctant to since he hasn’t really put up exciting numbers thus far.

Thoughts? WHIR, please leave link

Lynch is suffering from overall poor offense in addition to tough opponents. His numbers will likely improve (they can't get much worse).

I like McCluster if you are looking for immediate point contribution. At least you know KC is going to be using him more, whereas the involvement of Tomlinson/Bush is erratic.

I agree with that about Lynch. He is due for a TD soon... Do I start him this week?

Also: Who would I drop to get McCluster? Drop spiller or drop one of my QB’s?

San Diego will eat KC for lunch then pick their teeth with the bones. Seattle will have something to prove after last week and Arizona at least allows yardage. Both tough games but yeah, I like Lynch over the others. McCluster is a wildcard right now. With Lynch, you know he will see his touches.

I would drop Kolb.

QB: Ryan Fitzpatrick, Ben Roethlisberger, Kevin Kolb
RB: Arian Foster, Peyton Hillis, Marshawn Lynch, CJ Spiller
WR: Hakeem Nicks, Mike Williams, Kenny Britt
TE: Jimmy Graham, Rob Gronkowski
K: Billy Cundiff
DEF: Dallas

Big Ben is useless to me I have no support for a sex predator.
Dump him for McCluster he's both RB and WR eligible and is gaurenteed touches each week. Go for that.

Fitzy/Kolb will carry your QB slot.
