Please help my poor team

Postby Itchy » Sat Sep 24, 2011 11:51 am

Need 3 WR's, here's my choices (standard league)
Mike Wallace
Eric Decker
Randall Cobb
Denarius Moore

Mike Wallace I know, but what about the other 2? I also could pick up David Nelson, but would have to drop someone. Thinking about dropping Eli Manning (I have Romo and Grossman-I know it's not great). My team has been hit hard with injury's - that's why I have such poor choices. Please help.

Without hesitation, pick up Mike Wallace fast!

Then take Decker and Moore.

Thanks! I wasn't very clear - I already have Wallace, but need to get 2 others. I did get Decker and Moore but was wondering if Nelson would be a better play this week.

I think Nelson will be a better play then either Decker or Moore this week

Just for the future, it'd be nice if you could put up matchups for the players, it makes things a bit more smooth for those wanting to help you ^^.

That said, Moore is up against NYJ, so that alone makes me shy away from him.

Decker is up against TEN, so that makes him a decent candidate.

Cobb is up against CHI, and GB doesn't usually do AS well when they go up against CHI, I don't see Cobb being particularly productive, if at all. I would drop Cobb, and pick up David Nelson, who I am thinking will have a fantastic game against NE due to the high possibility of a shootout with two high powered offenses. Also Parrish is out for the season for BUF, meaning Nelson would definitely get more looks.

So, what I would do, is drop Cobb, whom I deem less valuable then the rest of your receivers, and start Wallace, Decker, and Nerlson

Every 10 rushing yards = 1 pt
every 20 recieving yards = 1 pt
every TD = 7 pts
every int = -1 pt
every fumble = -1pt
every 50 return yards = 1pt
every 50 passing yards = 1 pt

Definitely drop Cobb, he was a Week 1 Wonder but the truth is there are too many mouths to feed in that GB offense to count on the WR4/KR guy every week. Nelson on the other hand is pretty solidly entrenched as WR2 on a team that looks like they will have to throw a lot this year.

My thoughts exactly.

There was a mass rush to the WW after week one to pick him up, but one has to know that the GB offense is just too full of great playmakers, and there is clearly a hierarchy in terms of priority. That said, go out and get Nelson...I really don't know why he's still available in your league! Better situation than Cobb, and more proven record (albeit, two weeks to one...LOL).

That said, Wallace, Nelson, and Decker.

Good luck!!

Help me out pls,
