New trade offer

Postby Raydio » Sat Sep 24, 2011 12:54 pm

Here's my team. I have needed some help in the RB position and it may come in trading gates.

QB- Rivers, Flacco
RB- DeAngelo Williams, Tomlinson, Helu
WR- Holmes, Harvin, Devrey Henderson, Marqus Colston
TE- Vernon Davis, Gates, Dustin Keller
Def- Pitt

In this trade I would get Darren Sproles, Shonn Greene, and Early Doucet
I would give up Vernon Davis, Deangelo Williams, and Percy Harvin.

Does it improve my squad? I still have Keller and Gates at TE, and I do add two point scoring running backs. What do you think?

ADDED NOTE: THIS IS A PPR LEAGUE!

Im not a big Green fan...but youre giving up another player in Williams who hasnt done squat either.

If this is PPR, I like Sproles a lot. However, im not ready to call it quits on Harvin yet. I have a feeling he'll get it together soon. Minnesota has no choice if they want to help AP...

Dude, get out there and trade D Will and Gates for a decent RB. You can do better than Sproles im thinking.

Thats the thing, I have tried for over a week. We have a 12 team league and no one wants to trade a RB for a TE. The best offer was Gates for Starks straight up. I was able to get his one guy to take Davis rather than Gates for the same two running backs. For some reason no one wants Gates. In our league the market is saying you get average backs for a good TE. Dont know what else to do, all i know is that I need running backs in a bad way.

Well if you really need RBs that bad then I think Gates for Starks is not that bad. Starks is on a good team and is basically the man now. And theres the fact that you dont really need Gates, it looks like hes lost a step or two, hes hurt.....

There was a day when NOBODY could shut out Gates like NE did last week. It didnt matter what they tried. So either his foot or his age is catching up im guessing.
