i'm in the same dilemma but i think i'm going to have to go with Mathews just because they're playing KC and you can guarantee that san diego will score at least 40 points against them. Tolberts calf is still bothering him so I would assume that Mathews will get more carries.
edit: I would start Tate over Tolbert. so mathews and TAte.

i feel like SD will get a head early and run a lot which i think favors mathews over tolbert...but if its PPR then you have a tougher decision if foster is officially out, then i go tate/mathews (non-ppr) or tate/tolbert (if ppr)
Thanks I think I may go that route with Mathews RB2 Tate in the flex sounds safer.Ap is my RB 1.Though it would kill me if Tolbert destroys it that's why I was considering going with them both him and Mathews and benching tate. Its standard 10 man League
I would also say Mathews and Tate. I don't have much faith in Foster for this week, Tate is a good bet. With Tolbert not at 100% I think Tate is a better bet. I'm playing Tolbert, but I don't have much option.
Any help with my situation? viewtopic.php?t=499184
As most people have already said, Tate and Matthews would by my choice.
Tolbert's having calf issues, so even if he plays he won't be at 100%. Matthews is finally showing some of that talent that he was drafted for, and he's going up against a KC team that has had the previous 2 teams score over 40 points on them, yeah, not good.
Tate has been putting up very nice numbers as well, so I'd choose him over Tolbert too.
Tough call but vs KC i would go with the Chargers backs...tolbert in the throwing game this year is killing plus maybe vs KC tolbert will get his running game back...plus lots of points so im thinking matthews and tolbert
