The only rookie in my big money league finished 11-1-1 with the best record in the league. He inherited a team with Ricky Williams as his keeper, and had what we all considered to be the worst draft in the league. He took Curtis Martin before Stephen Davis...drafted Kyle Boller in the 9th round as his top QB..etc. He then went on to start 7-0 and more or less mop up everyone in our league behind...Randy Moss, Kitna, Chad Johnson, Darrell Jackson, Baltimore's D. He also dropped Keenan McCardell around week 5 or so. He's now sitting with a bye in the first week of the playoffs waiting to play the winner between myself and another guy next week.

I started 0-5 and made some big pick ups and now I'm sitting at 6-6-1 (went on a 7 week no losing streak). This is my first year. I'm in 4th of 8...

This is my rookie year and I'm in 2 leagues. In the first, I have the third highest point total AND a losing record. No playoffs there.

In my second league, I clinched a playoff spot and have the highest point total. It's been a fun year and I've learned a LOT. Thanks to everyone here for my first year fantasy football education.

We have a few rookies in my league ... in fact ... i think mostly comprised of rookies

I finished the year 10-3, first place with highest point total as well.
Other rookies finished in third, fifth, seventh and eighth to make 5/8 playoff teams coached by rookies.

We also had 3 other rookies who didn't make the playoffs.

Here's my team info with our league info:

QB - D. Culpepper, J. Blake, M. Vick, G. Frerotte
WR - M. Harrison, K. Robinson, C. Lee
RB - S. Alexander, A. Green, M. Morris, A. Zereoue, T. Jones
TE - I. Mili
K - M. Vanderjagt
Def - New England, Seattle

Slightly Modified Yahoo league. 12 man league, head to head (10-3 , 1st place in regular season match-ups).

I have three rookies in my 8-team league. Two of the three are in 7th and 8th place. The other one is in 1st place at 10-3...although I just beat him. He is actually 5th in points but has managed some close wins. I really don't think he has much of a shot in the playoffs, but for a rookie he's doing pretty darn good.
