This isnt a rant, this isnt venting, this isnt a roster rating... I just wish to share my story... before i go balistic.
long story short, my league that i've been in for years decided to turn it into a keeper league. so I did my homework and drafted smart last year. This year, going into the draft, I was able to keep Chris Johnson (1st rd), Arian Foster (5th rd), and Michael Vick (12th rd). I was able to draft DeSean Jackson, Kenny Britt, Ced Ben, Dwane Bowe, Aaron Hernandez, and a few others. Going into Week 1, I was by far the favorite to win it all.
and now... now i just want to break something. my week 3 final total was 58 points..79 the week prior. currently have a 1-2 record and i dont see it getting much better.
what a waste. I get to keep those 3 going into next year as well but it seriously has be debating not keeping any of them.
QB: Robert Griffin III, Michael Vick RB: Arian Foster, Trent Richardson, Willis McGahee WR: Victor Cruz, Andre Johnson, Malcom Floyd,Kendall Wright, Kevin Ogletree TE: Dennis Pitta, Heath Miller D/ST: Texans K: Greg Zuerlein
So if you choose not to keep CJ then you would get your first round pick next year? That could be something to consider. I mean if he keeps playing like he has been. Foster will be fine IMO. Hes a monster. Good luck!

Before you go doing anything silly, remember this is a marathon not a dash. You have enough top line talent that could round into form and fulfill you fantasy dreams.

Foster and CJ will come around and both be top-10 RBs. Vick is a top 5 QB. DeSean Jackson is peforming above expectations so far this year. CedBens has a 4.5 YPC average so far this year and has 2 100-yd+ games. He also won't be suspended this year b/c his lawyers are amazing. Dwayne Bowe is the lone bright star on the Chiefs and you can't complain about his production last 3 games (5/101/0, 4/67/1, 5/107/1)
I don't see what your really complaining about? I mean sure you lost Britt but so did all Britt owners. It's not like you owned two studs who went IR on you like if you owned Charles.

all that is speculation. I am basing everything off of actual current performance. This week wasn't so bad seeing all my players showed up but to start the year Foster was out a few games due to injury, CJ2.1 was better off sitting on his couch watching the game on TV, Vick was knocked out of 2 games early, Britt died, Benson's gonna be suspended because he's a criminal.
If you want to speculate, you could also speculate that Vick could very well get injured due to his style of play and miss a few games or even the rest of the season. this is a very likely scenario.
CJ1.2 could continue to suck and not even hit 1k yards at the end of the season.
If Vick is out, DeShaun Jackson might as well be out also.
just playing devils advocate here

If i decide to Trade, Drop, or simply not keep CJ2k going into next years draft, then i would get my 1st round pick back.

Won this week 131 - 77. the kid I'm playing next week is 4-0 but he just lost Andre Johnson for a few games and Brandon Marshall is on Bye. I might have a shot here

I hate this game!

Madden hates me for hating Favre all these years. My team: Peyton Manning - you know how that is playing out. Jammal Charles - out Antonio Gates - would not be surprising if he misses more than half, if not all season. Heck, should rename my team Madden's Hurse.
