Who Should I Be Starting...and Should I Trade?

Postby leavitator » Wed Sep 04, 2002 10:25 am

I'm in a Yahoo league, 10 teams, start 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 DEF. My lineup consists of:

QB
Trent Green
Michael Vick

RB
Ricky Williams
Fred Taylor
Travis Henry
Olandis Gary

WR
Randy Moss
David Boston
Issac Bruce
Ed McCaffrey
Donald Driver

TE
Freddie Jones
Cam Cleeland

K
Ryan Longwell

DEF
San Diego

What looks like my strongest and weakest parts of the team?

Also, I have been proposed a trade of Moss and Williams for Marshall Faulk and Terry Glenn. What do you think about that?

Thank you

I think that you are strongest at WR than any othe position. Your weakest would be RB. I'm not big on Williams due to previous performances (a new home shouldn't change anything) and Taylor is a big injury risk. If I were you, I would take the trade because Faulk should add alot to your team, more than Moss could add at this point. Glenn could be a break out player if he gets his head in gear. You can also look on waivers and see about picking up another RB to help your squad, maybe releasing Driver or McCaffery. Just a thought....

not often sum1 is willing to trade faulk. take it. marshall is the man and if glenn doesnt work out u still have boston and bruce.

if u can, drop cleeland for a rb...

Thanx for the feedback thus far. I accepted the trade for Faulk, and picked up Lamar Smith off the wire for Cam Cleeland.

Further feedback would be welcome, such as should I start Driver, Glenn, or McCaffrey in my 3rd receiver slot this week? Thank you

Glenn. You have to start the #1 WR over Driver and McCaffrey.

I think your d is a little weak. If your yahoo league is like mine, either dallas or washington could be available, and either would be a nice pick. I think dallas' D could be a nice surprise this year

I pick my defense based on who they are facing each week. The first 3 weeks, San Diego is facing Cincinnati, Houston, and Arizona.
