Word is that Vick will play, but should I still go with him or should I go with one of the other hot hands?
For RB I need two of:
Mendenhall @ HOU Forte vs CAR Matthews vs MIA
Last week I went with Forte/Mendenhall and paid for it as Matthews went for 27pts on my bench. Any help would be appreciated. Send me a link. I'll help with yours. Thanks.

10 Team Standard League. (Record: 7-3)
QB - Cam, Palmer WR - Welker, A. Johnson, S. Smith, P. Harvin, A. Brown RB - Forte, Mendenhall, R. Matthews, Bush TE - Finley K - Kasay DEF - NYJ
There is downside but I would still roll with Vick. Cam is a great talent but I don't want to live in a world where a rookie goes into Soldier field and comes out with a great day. I'll pass on Flacco taking on one of the best defenses in football right now as well. I know he fared well against the Steelers but they also prepped all pre-season for the Steelers too. The Jets are gonna come hard and fast and Boldin has an all expense-paid trip to Revis Island. Torrey Smith is the Y-variable but I wouldn't rest the fate of my fantasy team on him.
Put Ryan Matthews in your starting lineup and leave him there for the rest of the season barring injury. Start Forte also.
Vick will play. It's not even his throwing hand that's hurt. I don't like Newton or Flacco's matchups this week. Vick is your best player and has the best matchup, so I think it's a no-brainer.
At RB, you gotta go with the hot hand in Mathews... and the other spot to Forte may be the safer bet. Forte doesn't usually get much in terms of rushing yards but he makes up for it with reception yards. I have Mendenhall on my team too, and I'm gonna bench him. I'll take a wait-and-see approach with him. He needs to prove to me he is worth starting again before I put him back in. That pathetic performance in a dream matchup vs a weak Colts run defense is worthy of benching alone. The Steeler's O-line has looked terrible this season. Mendenhall has no holes to run through and Big Ben is getting killed back there.
QB - Drew Brees, Tony Romo RB - Adrian Peterson, Trent Richardson, Alfred Morris, Jacquizz Rodgers WR - Brandon Marshall, Julio Jones, Vincent Jackson, Anquan Boldin, Golden Tate TE - Heath Miller DEF - Rotating K - Justin Tucker
While I don't expect Mathews to have a repeat of last week, I think you can't risk benching him while he's on this much of a roll. Mendenhall could break out this week, but has been too inconsistent thus far. Go with Forte and Mathews.
Keep monitoring Vick, but if he plays, you have to start him.
i like vick and mendenhall (bounce back game) and forte to destroy carolina cutler looks to him early and often..no john beason in the core for carolina so i see a huge game for forte
So looks like Vick is an obvious choice for QB, but still some uncertainty with whether to play Mendenhall or Ryan Matthews alongside Forte at RB. Any more help would be appreciated. As always WHIR.
