I think Pitt is a poor matchup for Schaub and fitz is lighting it up every week. As a SF fan I know a savvy QB can go off on nate clements. I'm leaning towards Fitz
I'm also carrying foster, McFadden, d. williams, p. thomas, and M. Ingram. Mcfadden gets the play of course but I have another RB slot and a flex spot...I'm thinking Ingram and Foster this week?
If you wanna play it safe go with Fitzy. The risk/reward pick is Schaub. There is plenty of game tape from the first three weeks showing Pittsburgh's defensive weaknesses exposed. Schaub has potential for a higher payoff but bigger risk of failure too. Me personally, I like what the Buffalo Bills are doing this season. I believe in the Fitz Magic.
Ingram is the goalline guy so yes he's deserving of a start. Pierre Thomas seems to be getting phased out so sit him. Deangelo Williams is appalling to watch these days but Foster is coming back to a timeshare situation most likely going against a Steelers D that is not easy to run against. If you put a gun to my head I would say Foster.
Yeah roll with Fitz, it is the smarter and safer play. Schaub could throw for a good game, but I think the Steelers will slow down the game and turn it into one of those 17-20 type games.
As for your RB's, roll out Foster and Ingram with Run DMC. Pierre Thomas' is fading in New Orleans, and I DeAngelo Williams is a head case. Until DeAngelo Williams shows he can put up a good game, keep him on your bench.
As for RB's, definitely choose Foster next to McFadden... flex spot for Ingram. The Saints uses all 3 of their RB's in various ways, but Ingram is the hammer. If any of them scores inside the redzone, it will be Ingram. I don't like Pierre Thomas nor Deangelo Williams as starting RB's at this point.
QB - Drew Brees, Tony Romo RB - Adrian Peterson, Trent Richardson, Alfred Morris, Jacquizz Rodgers WR - Brandon Marshall, Julio Jones, Vincent Jackson, Anquan Boldin, Golden Tate TE - Heath Miller DEF - Rotating K - Justin Tucker
I agree ... Fitzpatrick is the way to go this week, although I think you will end up with good points either way you go.
I would also start Foster this week ... i believe he's had enough rest to heal, and even though he will be sharing carries, I think he is going to be running like a wild man on a mission to ensure his role in this offense!
