Lynch is the undisputed non-RBBC back in one of the worst offenses in the league.
James Starks is maybe the 1a or 1b guy on a very good pass 1st offense who is splitting time.
You have to drop one of them . . . which one?
I am thinking Lynch . . . even though the thought of dropping a starting NFL RB seems crazy. I would never start him unless he absolutely blew up, which isn't likely. With Starks though, if Grant got injured he could instantly become a solid RB2 type guy.
10 Team money leagues. 0.5 ppr
QBs - Roethlisberger, Grossman RBs - Peterson, Mendenhall, F Jones, Wells, Lynch, Starks WRs - VJax, S Johnson, M Williams, M Thomas TEs - Gronkowski, Davis D/ST - CHI K - Cundiff

It's time to put down the crack-pipe and step away from the keyboard.
Lynch...especially since Starks is starting next week. He could break out against the Broncos.
Week 13
QB - Tim Tebow WR - Hakeem Nicks WR - Dez Bryant RB - Ray Rice RB - Ryan Mathews TE - Jermichael Finley W/R/T - Vincent Jackson BN - Tony Romo BN - Julio Jones BN - Roy Helu BN - Ben Tate BN - Kevin Smith K - Mason Crosby D - Houston
I'll second Starks being more valuable than Lynch, though really, I'd try to swing a 2-for-1 trade somewhere to get better value out of consolidating your roster.
QB Tom Brady, NE QB RB LeSean McCoy, Phi RB RB Darren McFadden, Oak RB RB/WR Fred Jackson, Buf RB WR Calvin Johnson, Det WR WR Steve Smith, Car WR TE Jason Witten, Dal TE D/ST Ravens, Bal D/ST K John Kasay, NO K
i'm not a big james starks fan in the long run, and this is fairly close. Unless you have to keep a backup defense or start 2 qb's, I wouldn't cut either back. I'd cut the Raiders D or Grossman first.
However, of the two backs, starks has more upside if he can get the starting job, so i'd cut lynch as well.

Yeah. This was a toughie for me. I can see Lynch being decent for maybe 3 games, but not a better choice than any of the other dudes I have.
FYI, forgot to edit OAK out of my Roster. I am basically dropping both Grossman and Lynch/Starks to pick up Aaron Hernandez and Mario Manningham.
I couldn't leave Hernandez out there, even though I own Gronkowski. I plan on trading Hernandez away once he is back, and so I want to keep Davis for byes or insurance against a Gronkowski injury.
