Trade: Mendenhall for Fred Jackson

I'm looking to sell high on Fred Jackson, and I can get Mendenhall for him...just need to throw in Jason Pierre Paul, NYG DL, we play an IDP league, who's been a top 5 DL so far due to Umenyiora's injury. I think I want to make the trade as I can pick a DL off waivers pretty easily. Please help, should I pull the trigger and get a 1st Rounder for Fred Jackson?

I don't know about IDP, but I am not sure I would rather have Mendy than Jackson at this point. The PITT OLine has been atrocious.

You said it, this is classic sell-high. Jackson may be good all season, but he will not outmatch Mendy IMO and DL can be found on WW.

The PIT line is bad, but things might shape up. Selling high is always a good thing.

Bump for a few east coast opinions who were asleep last night...

Will Pitts O-line recover and allow Mendenhall to run? Thinking about trying to do straight up and not throwing in the DL.

Yeah....I don't know about throwing in pierre paul....if you could get rid of a number 3 or 4 wr instead that would be much better. JPP is a beast right now. I got him in a league. otherwise, i might just roll with jackson. definitely wanna make sure you get spiller though. Good luck take a look at mine. viewtopic.php?t=500319

I would go ahead and do it. Fred Jackson's numbers are through the roof right now, and I really don't think he is going to average 6 yards a carry for the rest of the season. and Pit should get it going. they always do.
