Reading between the lines here is Gates done for the season, should he be dropped. I'm in a league with only 14 roster spots per team and every spot is valuable. I have Fred Davis as my backup should Gates be dropped or wait a bit to get a clearer picture of what's happening.

Either offload him in a package trade for some better value somewhere else if you can. Otherwise...you have to hang on to him until we know further what the deal is. I just traded him and fitzy for cj2k and hakeem knicks in a league. good luck help with mine if you can. viewtopic.php?t=500319

gotta hang onto him til its a for sure done for the season. The guy is a TD machine even when banged up. Might try to unload him with a package deal though.
