I've got too many running backs and am trying to trade up. This owner is 0-3 and proclaimed desperate. Does this trade make sense? Is Mendenhall a good buy low?
Non-PPR. 2 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 WR/RB, 2 TE, 1 D, 1 K Starters: QB: Aaron Rogers, Michael Vick, Ryan Fitzpatrick RB: Felix Jones, Matt Forte, Beanie Wells, James Starks, Ben Tate WR: Mike Wallace, Mario Manningham, AJ Green, Eric Decker TE: Dallas Clark, Jimmy Graham D: Jets K: Jason Hanson
His team: QB: Big Ben, Cam Newton, Josh Freeman RB: Foster, Mendenhall, Greene, Tolbert, McGahee WR: Boldin, Nicks, Dez, Denarius Moore TE: Marcedes Lewis, Jermaine Gresham D: Lions K: Janikowski
You're buying both Mendehnall and Nicks low here. I'd do this in a heartbeat
1) Tate. Foster is the man there and seems to be healthy and ready to go. 2) Manningham. He's coming off a concussion that he gave to himself. Not a good way to start the season. 3) F Jones. This dude is electric but he's always banged up. An injury waiting to happen.
Move quickly before the guy changes his mind.

QB Tom Brady, NE QB RB LeSean McCoy, Phi RB RB Darren McFadden, Oak RB RB/WR Fred Jackson, Buf RB WR Calvin Johnson, Det WR WR Steve Smith, Car WR TE Jason Witten, Dal TE D/ST Ravens, Bal D/ST K John Kasay, NO K
I agree that both are buy low players right now, but I"m not too high on Mendenhall. If you look at his total carries, including playoffs he was used a ton last season. There o-line is a mess and he has really struggled so far this season. Now with all that being said I'd still do this deal in a second.
