In a bind..WHIR

My roster
QBs - Romo, Freeman, Hasselbeck (Grossman best available on wire)
RBs - Foster, Tate, Forte, Daniel Thomas, Mike Tolbert
WRs - C. Johnson, B. Marshall, R. Wayne, Nate Washington, Ochocinco

League is 1QB, 2RB, 3WR and then a flex with QB/RB/WR/TE
0.5 PPR

I've been starting Freeman as my flex, figuring a second QB was the best bet, but with 40 passing yards / 1 pt its looking like a RB or WR might be just as viable. I know Romo is risky, but I don't have a better option for QB. Forte, Calvin, Marshall, and Wayne (not so much) are my locks, so I guess I'm just stuck on the RB2 and the flex. If Foster plays 100% with majority carries, he's the obvious choice, but who knows, and Daniel Thomas looks hot. I'm debating benching Hasselbeck and Freeman, and playing either Thomas or Washington in the flex. Thoughts?

I would pick up Grossman. STL has made the last two QBs they've played so far look like superstars (i.e. Manning and Flacco - Vick didn't look horrible either in week 1). It's Grossman's turn to tear it up against the consistently bad pass defense.

I'd play a QB. I am leaning on Thomas this week as well but I don't like it. SD is allowing 4th fewest points to RB's and I can see Miami getting down early and going to the pass often to catch up. Thomas has proven that he is productive as a checkdown but I think the points that you would get out of say Hasselback will be greater this week.

So you think grab Grossman and drop someone like Tolbert or give up on Ochocinco, play Foster at RB2 and Grossman in the flex?

The Texans RB issue is sticky. I would do the painful thing: bench them both until that clears up (should be made a bit clearer this week) and play someone you know who is going to get touches: Daniel Thomas. And Brady has too many other weapons to keep waiting on Ochocino to actual catch a pass. He may have a few great games this year, but you'll never know when and you'll lose out playing the guessing game. So, I would drop Ochocino, move Thomas to a RB slot, and put Grossman in the flex.
