trade of WR and RB (WHIR)

Postby ergofrog » Thu Sep 29, 2011 11:51 am

I am looking for a little insight into trading Welker high to upgrade overall:

Here is my team:

QB Rivers SD, Fitzpatrick (BUF
RB: CJohnson (TEN), Gore (SF), Hightower (WAS), Hunter (SF), Karim (JAX), D.Thomas (MIA)
WR: Welker (NE), S.Johnson (BUF), Green (CIN), Floyd (SD), Amendola (STL), Knox (CHI), Ford (OAK)
TE: Findley (GB)
Kick: Folk (NYJ)
DEF: Det, SF

I was thinking about makign the following trade since I doubt Welker's value would be any higher:

Welker and Gore

for

R.White (ATL) and Matthews (SD)
What do you think...leave link and I will help in return.

I think you can do better then this right now because Welker's value (particularly in PPR leagues) is extremely high. Honestly I would rather see you go after Jennings or Mike Wallace mainly because these look better right now and I think you can get a better back I am not sold on Matthews you can maybe attempt to buy low on Mendenhall, or go after Fred Jackson, or possibly try for Forte.

i agree that selling high on welker might be a good idea.
unless this is ppr, in that case, welker's a top 5 guy.

i think this is a pretty good deal for you. though it might be smarter to go after a guy with better job security. especially when you're already dealing with johnson.

thanks for the advice on mine.
