Best vs. Ryan Matthews WHIR

Postby SF2313 » Thu Sep 29, 2011 1:36 pm

Thoughts? Who's the better player to have as my 4th RB?

By Saturday my team will be:
Brady
McCoy
McFadden
F.Jackson
Fitz
VJack
Witten
Ravens D
Rackers
-----------
Matthews
Starks
Holmes
Nelson
Harvin
M.Bush
Giants D/ST
-----------
I don't like the fact that I'd have to play Matthews and VJack at the same time sometimes, seeing they are on the same team. Am I overreacting, or should I trade for Best?

I like Mathews this week, because Dallas' run D has been pretty solid and he's getting more carries than Tolbert. However, in general I'd ride Best while the Lions are hot. Especially if the league is PPR.

Must be nice having to choose between them for your FOURTH running back, haha

Thanks for the help on mine

Matthews was the first name on my bench mzk. And the league isn't PPR, but he's still doing quite well in standard. Appreciate the input.

Go with Best for now and switch to Mathews when he really gets going...

I'd have to trade Matthews to get Best.

I misunderstood earlier. I think I'd go with Mathews over Best for the season. Best is producing, but a lot of it is through the air. They also have much better run defenses that he'll have to face in the NFC north than Mathews will be facing. Lastly, Best has the injury history. I think we're seeing what they expected out of Mathews last year, and if he can keep it up I would stick with him.

Its close though
