Drop Hester for Rice? & RB Advice (WHIR)

Postby WhiteRob443 » Thu Sep 29, 2011 1:49 pm

OK so in my 1 league thinking of dropping D.Hester for S.Rice or possibly T.Young, is this a good move? Also have 3 TEs need to drop 1 thinking Pettigrew & grab a RB I have only 3 and was thinking of R.Grant, R.Helu, M.Lynch, D.Carter, or D.Murray, which one?

My Team (12 Team, Standard Scoring)

QB- J.Flacco, M.Hasslebeck, & P.Manning (My IR)
WR- A.Boldin, R.Wayne, D.Nelson, R.Meachem, & D.Hester
RB- A.Peterson, R.Matthews, & CJ.Spiller
TE- V.Davis, E.Dickson, & B.Pettigrew
K- M.Crosby
TDSP- Eagles
QB- M.Ryan & J.Cutler
RB- M.Lynch, D.Martin, M.Leshoure, & J.Stewart
WR- C.Johnson, J.Jones (ATL), A.Brown, K.Britt, & R.Cobb
TE- A.Hernandez & G.Olsen
K- M.Bryant
TDSP- Seahawks

Get rid of Manning lol, drop Hester for T.Young, and drop Dickson for either Grant, Helu, or Lynch. I see those RBs all at about the same level.

Yeah Manning is on my IR were allowed 1 player to have on IR & he doesn't count towrds the number of players we can carry so I stashed him there for some little glimpse of a return if it happens hes there, so thats the only reason while hes still on my team

I'd drop Hester & Dickson. Pick up Young & Grant. The other RBs you listed are basically handcuffs, so they're all sort of a wait & see.

def drop hester....unless you get return yards he is useless imo.

Nab Rice or Young... id side with Rice just because he is going to be the only one getting balls thrown his way in seattle.

as for your RB... id go after Grant and then Helu... If Hightower goes down, Helu could be a stud.

I agree with rclement here. The Seahawks brought rice in to get balls thrown his way. Drop Hester and snatch him up, let's not forget how good he is when healthy.

As for your RB, I'd grab grant. Like clement said though, as the season progresses I see helu stealing more and more possessions from Hightower though.

Help me out?
