So, I thought I had a real solid team lined up in my 10 team H2H standard scoring league (no PPR). But with Gates being worthless so far, I've come to a cross roads. I only have 13 roster spots, so I'm not carrying a backup TE, and I don't know what to do with this conundrum.
Here is my team, who is available on the WW, and some teams that may be up for trading...
My team: Big Ben, Cutler Rice, Bradshaw, Hightower, Beanie CJ, VJax, Bowe, Maclin Gates J. Brown Tamap DEF (playing WW Matchups)
Intriguing TE on WW: S. Chandler F. Davis O. Daniels
I'm leaning heavily towards Daniels of these 3, but who would I drop?
Here's a team carrying 2 TE taht might be interesting
Rivers, Newton Mendenhall, Green-Ellis, Jacobs Wayne, J. Jones, Manningham Graham, Hernandez Kasey Baltimore, Atlanta
Is there a trade to be made here? He has a weak WR core, and mine is awfully deep...
Please help me out, and leave a link. I always WHIR.
I mean you could offer something like Maclin for one of his TEs but thats paying a lot. I would rather drop beanie and pick of one of those TEs and wait on Gates.

I was thinking maybe trying something along the lines of Maclin and Hightower for Mendenhall and one of his TE. I could even throw in Beanie (let him drop ATL DEF), and then grab Thomas off the WW after opening up a roster spot... Thoughts?
Really tough as your stacked at WR and have a nice RB core.
If this problem is going to be all season long, u may have to cut ties with Gates. If he's going to miss 4-7 weeks, Daniels and Davis both offer solid TE options. They get targets, make plays Downfield and get RZ looks. The TE position is really deep this year.
If you must keep gates... The only other cut could e beanie. He started off good, but his consistent injury issues dating back to college continue to plague him.
Daniels, then Davis. Depending on how deep your WW is on QBs, I would drop Cutler and pick him up later. Otherwise, Beanie is the drop. I would favor a 2 for 2 trade over all of this but if your commish is like mine you may not have this for Sunday.
I would first try swinging Hightower or Beanie for Graham or Hernandez. His team needs help at RB especially after that horrendous game by BGE last week, and Jacobs is unreliable as you basically just have to hope he gets a TD.
If you have to pickup one I'd drop Beanie (although it's tough to drop him) or Gates and pickup Daniels.
I would go with Daniels also. I would probably drop cutler. Rothlisburger is your everyday qb....not sure when his bye week is, but im sure you could get him back or another qb just for his bye week when it comes back.
Or look to trade for Hernandez. You have some WRs you could deal for him. possibly maclin
I think with the bench situation, you probably could drop Cutler and pick him or someone better for Ben's bye week.
However, I may try to do a trade, the problem is, yeah he's rostering 2 TE's but one is injured. The only viable option he has is Graham. Any other teams rostering two TE's? if not I'd probably drop Cutler or Beanie, kinda toss up for me. The problem with dropping Beanie is you have Rice and Hightower who both have a week 5 bye... Probably Cutler.. I'd grab OD out of the TE's listed.
