PPR league, 1 pt. per 10 yards rushing, 20 yards receiving
QB: Vick RB: Hillis vs TEN RB: Sproles at JAX Flex: F. Jones vs DET WR: Dez vs DET WR: S. Moss at StL TE: Daniels
Bench: Hightower at StL Sidney Rice vs ATL
I'm really uneasy about Sproles, even in this format. He's been a stud, but don't necassarily love the matchup, and not sure how long he can keep it up. I also don't like Dez. Rice a better play?
In a separate league, PPR, I am currently playing:
McCoy Bradshaw Sproles at JAX Nicks at ARI S. Johnson at CIN D. Clark at TB
Bench: Hightower at StL S. Holmes at BAL T. Gonzalez at SEA
I think starting Sproles is not even a question...I mean yes he has been a stud this year, but he'll be against a very slow Jags D...Sproles is lightning fast, so you gotta expect atleast one more big game from him
PPR Brees M Wallace B Lloyd M WIlliams tb A Foster F Jackson D Sproles A Gates O Daniels M Coulston
Sproles is an easy start in PPR...honestly I think that Sidney may be a better choice here on the basis that Detroit is going to hound the QB, further preventing a player that is dealing with his own lingering injury. He won't see all the snaps.
Good choice benching Tony in your other league. Seattle shows up on defense at home and Matty Ice will struggle.
I think you have to go with Sproles for sure, esp in a PPR league. Safe bet would be Hillis over Hightower.
I like Dez to step up and I think if you are looking for a higher risk, high reward option i'd go Dez.
As for the other League: Bradshaw or Sproles over Hightower for sure, Although I'd go Gonzalez over Clark, I just don't trust any Indy QB to deliver the ball effectively to anyone.
I don't see how you can sit Hillis, but you probably have to temper expectations - that TEN defense is good, and they don't give up much on the ground. If the disparity in snaps wasn't so big, I could even argue for starting Hightower over Hillis, just because the Rams' defense has been pretty awful. Sproles gets a start for me, until someone neutralizes him Sean is going to keep getting the ball in his hands.
In your other league, I wouldn't change anything, though you could argue that on QB ability Gonzalez ranks ahead of Clark right now. Very likely that Painter will use Clark to stay out of trouble, so + catches for average yards wouldn't be a shock. Good luck!
Only change that I would make is Gonzalez over Clark. Curtis Painter? No thanks.
QB: Drew Brees, Matthew Stafford RB: Adrian Peterson, Peyton Hillis, Steven Jackson, Jackie Battle WR: Andre Johnson, Roddy White, Dez Bryant, Steve Smith, Vincent Jackson TE: Vernon Davis, Tony Gonzalez K: John Kasay D/ST: Cincinnati Bengals
I like your lineup the way it is. Word is that Dez aggravated his quad problem and may not play. Watch the report. If he goes at 1:00 game, he's your man. Sproles over Hightower is not even a question for me! Second lineup looks right as well.
I have no issues with EITHER lineup, and you simply MUST start Sproles in both, Hillis in the other bc TENN is no great shakes against the run so far, and Hillis can feel Montario breathing down his neck--- I am starting Hillis with the utmost confidence myself!
