some dude in my league just dropped him. Is he worth picking him up or do you believe he's going to miss the majority of this year with his foot again?

and who should i drop to add him to my bench?

Wow, someone actually dropped Gates? And you have to ask us whether you should drop one of your second rate players for the premier TE in the game? Duh! Just do it!

Gates will likely be out 2-3 weeks. I wanna know how good that doofus' team is to have the balls to just outright drop Gates like that.... he must have a damn good backup TE... well... His loss is your gain. I'd honestly drop ANY of the guys on your bench for him. The guy you should drop is Helu though. Although Helu has potential to blow up eventually, it may not be this year.

Agreed. I would drop Helu. I was able to pickup the best TE on waivers and trade him to Gates' owner. Stash him on your bench and reap the benefits after the bye week when he returns to his top status.
