I am doing well in my league (3-0), but I get the feeling I am going to have to shake things up going forward. My current roster is
QB: Drew Brees, Matt Hasselbeck
RB: Ray Rice, LeGarrette Blount, Willis McGahee, Beanie Wells, Bernard Scott
WR: Mike Wallace, Mike Williams, Brandon Lloyd, David Nelson, Brandon LaFell
TE: ROB GRONKOWSKI
K: David Akers
D: Lions
After Rice has his bye in week 5 I figure I can safely trim down at RB and trade either McGahee or Wells hopefully for a WR or a TE.
Bernard Scott is excess baggage right now, even if he does well while Benson is suspended I can't see myself starting him. Hopefully he has a good enough game I can use him in trades.
Wallace is my only reliable receiver. Once 1-2 of the other ones rise to the top I am going to trim the fat.
My backup QB exists solely for week 11 when Drew is on a bye week (given the way the Saints O-line have been protecting him I don't see Brees missing any time this year). I may use Hasselbeck in trades and pick up someone like Henne off the free agent list.
While Gronkowski has been a monster, I would like to add depth at TE.
So the big questions. Who is a WR that I could prob get for McGahee in a trade? which WRs do you thing I should hold. Back-up TE, Olsen? How would you rank my roster overall?
