Need Help with Flex in PPR... WHIR

Postby JohnnyBighead » Fri Sep 30, 2011 3:05 pm

12 team Yahoo League with 1 Point PPR Scoring....
1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 Flex RB/WR/TE, 1 K, 1 Def

QBs- Cam Newton, Josh Freeman
RBs- LeSean McCoy, Frank Gore, Ryan Mathews, Joseph Addai, Kendell Hunter
WRs- Roddy White, Steve Johnson, Dwayne Bowe, Danny Amendola, Devery Henderson, Victor Cruz
TEs- Jimmy Graham, Fred Davis

This is what i am thinking for starters...

QB- Cam
RB1- LeSean
RB2- Mathews
WR1- Roddy
WR2- Johnson
WR3- Bowe
TE- Graham
Flex- Gore/Addai/Hunter/Devery/Cruz

Usually I would go gore here but dont know bc of his injury... That is were Hunter comes in... Philly has been giving up tons on the ground. Also, although Indy has looked really bad, Addai is putting some servicable numbers up.... Those other two are totally unpredictable and I have no idea....

Any thoughts?

so addai is the guy who stands out here mainly because they'll prob have to lean on him with painter at the helm.
however, you may think i'm crazy for suggesting fred davis in that slot.
superb matchup and in ppr, he could be just as valuable as addai.

with the strength of your lineup, you could prob roll with either of them.

I'd probably go with Addai in this situation too. Because like someone else said, Painter will probably be starting for Indy and they will probably be relying more on the run.

Addai would be the best option in my opinion. He is going to get a lot of dump off passes from Painter plus his rushing yards.

id make it a game day decision and roll with Gore or Hunter.

Eagles Linebackers have been abused in the run.screen game... despite benching Matthews, and starting rolle and nate allen....id roll with any RB vs us untill proven otherwise.

I would go with Addai. I like him more than Gore, this week anyways. If Gore was healthy then it would be Gore, but hes not. Addai is the lone bright spot on the entire Colts roster atm.
