Burress and Jones for Dexter and Knox

Postby PrinceEatMeat » Fri Sep 30, 2011 8:23 pm

Should I take Plaxico Burress and T. Jones for Dexter and Torrey Smith or Knox. I get Burress and Jones in this deal. Possible Woodhead instead of Jones.

Here's my team. It's a 10 team standard non ppr. 3 keepers.

QB Schaub
QB Kolb
RB Gore
RB F. Jones
RB Ridley
RB Hunter
RB Benson
WR Wayne
WR Knox
WR Decker
WR Ju. Jones
WR T. Smith
WR Amendola
WR McCluster
TE Chandler
TE Graham
D/ST Packers

i'd keep what you have. If you don't start two qb's, I'd try and deal Schaub for an upgrade at RB or WR.

Yeah if you dont start two QB's, deal one for an upgrade at WR. But if you do start two QB's, I can see why you would accept this deal. Since Plaxico and Thomas Jones will most likely get you more points this season then Dexter and Torrey will. This is a great time to sell high on Torrey Smith.

What about knox in this deal instead of smith? Or just knox for burress? He really wants knox.

If you like Knox less than Burress make the offer. I prefer knox to smith, myself.

Id rather have Plax and TJones in this situation. Dexter has no value EXCEPT in PPR leagues and Torrey very well could be a 1 hit wonder and Knox is just so wishy washy...

Plax is still a redzone threat and will continue to get those looks until the Jets get there running game going. TJones is valuable because he will be getting the majority of the carries in the KC offense, for whatever thats worth...

I agree. Burress for Knox is a good deal. Not crazy about Jones at this point in his career.
