Serious Help Needed for Pay League *WHIR*

Postby mortl » Sun Oct 02, 2011 9:54 pm

My Team :
QB. Rodgers
Rb. Blount
Rb. LT
RB/WR Steve Johnson
WR. Mike Wallace
WR. David Nelson
Te. Ed Dickson
D. Packers
K. Dan Bailey

Bench: Peyton Manning, Antonio Gates, benjarvus ellis, miles austin, Ben Tate, Bernard Scott.

OK so I think i need RB help... Unless blount has a big game tomorrow against the colts then my team is going to fall to 1-3 which isnt a good start. I was thinking of trading a high end receiver and hopefully get a solid RB in return. I was thinking I could send off Johnson for someone. What do you guys think???

Serious Help Needed for Pay League *WHIR*

I agree with you. I'm also in the same situation. You definitely need a RB. I would trade Johnson or Wallace for someone like Hillis or maybe try and buy low on Chris Johnson if you can.

Ya, RB is the problem spot. When Miles Austin returns, you should most definitely see about trading Nelson and the law firm for a solid number 1.You can buy low on CJ2 perhaps.

I'm going to try to win the waiver battle for Torrain and then trade him for a decent RB before he has time to get Shannahanned. There's always that.

Except for that weak RB spot and injuries, you're fine... LT just isn't doing too much. It definitely looks like time to trade him or law firm and Nelson for a much better RB.

Sorry I'm not too much help. Who's available to pick up at RB in your league?

There isnt much on waivers. Torrain, Ridley, K hunter. I might put in a claim for torrain and drop bernard scott or ben tate now that foster is back.

Its very dependent on what other players in your league need, however, I do think you need another RB. I'd offer up BGE and someone else, maybe even Steve, to try get a stud. Just my opinion though. I put my emphasis on my RBs.

like what everyone mentioned, trade one of your WR + decent RB2 for a good RB1, but i'll try keep Wallace and only consider giving SJohnson or Austin.

or try downgrade Rodger to QB that's also good but more risky like Newton and Vick.
like Rodger/BJGE or LT for Newton/Hillis or Vick/Wells, maybe even Fitzpatrick/AP you get the idea.

and also target Mendy, AJ, CJ2K, Gore (getting better, not there yet), William TB...etc, basically those player with high ceiling but poor performance and hope they bounce.
