Humongous Trade. Need advice. WHIR

Postby riotide » Tue Oct 04, 2011 9:42 am

I desperately need RB help, so I could try to bank on Daniel Thomas. The trade is I Receive Josh Freeman, Mike Williams, Calvin Johnson, Daniel Thomas*, Sidney Rice, and Jimmy Graham. I send Matthew Stafford, Mario Manningham, Mike Wallace, Roddy White, Antonio Gates*, and Denarius Moore. He is interested in Gates because he has both Gronk and Graham. Should I do this trade for either TE if he would prefer to deal one rather than the other?

Here's my full team:
QB - Matthew Stafford (DET)
RB - LeSean McCoy (PHI)
RB - Mark Ingram (NO)
WR - Roddy White (ATL)
WR - Mike Wallace (PIT)
RB/WR - Mario Manningham (NYG)
TE - Antonio Gates (SD)
K - Alex Henery (PHI)
D/ST - Tampa Bay Defense (TB)
BN - Michael Bush (OAK)
BN - Reggie Bush (MIA)
BN - Kendall Hunter (SF)
BN - Denarius Moore (OAK)
BN - Malcolm Floyd (SD)
BN - Nate Burleson (DET)
BN - Randy McMichael (SD)
IR - Mark Clayton (STL)

is this PPR? I think that could make a big difference in this trade....

This close is very close, tough to decide which side wins. And I would take Graham over Gronk for sure. Gronk will lose targets to Hernandez once he comes back.

Josh Freeman,
Mike Williams,
Calvin Johnson,
Daniel Thomas*,
Sidney Rice, and
Jimmy Graham.
send Matthew Stafford, Mario Manningham, Mike Wallace, Roddy White, Denarius Moore, Antonio Gates*,

Ok push to slight downgrade at TE. WRs involved: Wallace is stud but getting double teamed, shaky situation there. I'd rather have Wiliams, Megatron and Williams over Moore. You downgrade at QB but get a startable RB for the future especially now that Henne is hurt they are going to need him to step it up. Sidney Rice is a stud regardless of his team's situation.

I don't like downgrading from Stafford to Freeman though....

White is a stud don't give up on him.
The WR package your way is better and getting a nice RB and comparable TE. I see little reason to do this deal. it doesn't solve anything for either side. Its insanity to pull a trade off this big!
If you can grab a competitive backup QB out of FA then I would make this deal.

Thanks for helping mine
As i see it downgrade at QB, not a big fan of mike williams think he will be putting up WR3 at best this year while you send 2 legit WR1 for the best WR1 interesting you get graham pretty fair trade in all honesty because of upside with rice if ure hurting at TE then i think i would pull the trigger and if and only if theres a legit QB out there that will score 15+ a game if not then i hate that downgrade from stafford
