Would I be a fool to trade D.Brees for R.Mathews?

Ok guys i have been offered R.Mathews for my D.Brees. I do have C.Newton as my backup who to this point has played very well and has actually more fantasy points than Brees in my league. I am very weak at RB. Here is my roster. 14 man league h2h yahoo standards scoring league. Am i dumb to think Newton can preform solid for me the rest ofthe way as my starter. The other manager rejected my counter by offering newton instead . That way i see it it does no good to have to good QBs on my bench the whole season while im very weak at RB2 position.

I would do it. See if the other owner would take Newton first, but since you don't need both QBs, Mathews would fit in well for your team.

Yeah I would try to sell Newton first but if he wont then Id still do it. Bench points mean nothing, dont forget!

I would do Newton for Mathews but not Brees...

I made a trade, my Schaub and Moreno for Mathews... Schaub is good but not as good as Brees.

But hell, since you already accepted, I guess it doesnt mean much now... hope Newton works out for ya
