I have Romo on a Bye week, and my backup's injured. 16 team league, so the waiver wire pickings are very slim. Who would you take for Week 5 out of these QB's?
Andy Dalton @ JAC Tavaris Jackson @ NYG Alex Smith vs TB Curtis Painter vs KC Blaine Gabbert vs CIN
Thanks. Leave a link I'll help with yours.
10 Team Standard League. (Record: 7-3)
QB - Cam, Palmer WR - Welker, A. Johnson, S. Smith, P. Harvin, A. Brown RB - Forte, Mendenhall, R. Matthews, Bush TE - Finley K - Kasay DEF - NYJ
I'd go with Painter, team played really hard on the Road...they want to get a win really badly and painter played very well considering the circumstances
*edit* plus of all those QB's he easily has the most weapons to throw to
*edit x2* and KC is terrible
10 team standard- passing TD's = 6pts QB: Stafford RB: R. Matthews, A. Bradshaw, I. Redmann, B. Tate, CJ Spiller, WR: G. Jennings, A. Johnson, E. Decker, T. Smith, K. Britt, M. Crabtree TE: J. Tamme DEF: Philly start 1QB 2RB 3WR 1TE 1DEF 1K
Yuck. That's not much to choose from... Alex Smith might be the only "safe" points, but you could gamble and just hope that either Dalton or Jackson have great weeks. Definitely not Gabbert.
I, personally, would just take Smith for this one week and hope for the best.
no love for painter? he had 17 pts against a good TB D with no interceptions
he gets to play KC's injury riddled defense which was mediocre before they lost Berry and a few others...and he's at home.
am I the only one who likes him this week
Bold Prediction: 18 points for Painter this week
10 team standard- passing TD's = 6pts QB: Stafford RB: R. Matthews, A. Bradshaw, I. Redmann, B. Tate, CJ Spiller, WR: G. Jennings, A. Johnson, E. Decker, T. Smith, K. Britt, M. Crabtree TE: J. Tamme DEF: Philly start 1QB 2RB 3WR 1TE 1DEF 1K
id go with dalton. he had a good game against cleveland and led his team to a victory last week. the jaguars cant get to the quarterback, so he should have lots of time to throw.
