Time to drop Hightower? WHIR

Hey guys I was wondering if now is the time to drop hightower. Normally I would hang on to him for a little bit more but I'm not sure if he is worth keeping in my 8-man big money league. I'm not normally used to 8 man leagues (though I've been doing well so far, 4-0), so I'm wondering if he is worth keeping at this point with now 3 running backs in the mix in Washington.

My team is as follows - .5 ppr

QB-Big Ben
RB-McCoy
RB-Turner
RB-Felix Jones
RB-Daniel Thomas
RB-Starks
RB-Hightower
WR-Roddy White
WR-Wes Welker
WR-Brandon Lloyd
WR-Percy Harvin
TE-Gates
TE-Keller
Kicker-Bryant
D/ST- Packers

I'm thinking of replacing hightower for someone like hasselbeck who is still available on waivers. I feel as though hasselbeck will have more value than hightower as the season progresses. Or should I just sit back with the team I have

i dont think you need a quarterback. hasselbeck's best weapon, kenny britt, is out, and you already have matt stafford and big ben. who else is on waivers?

I know I don't really need a QB but I was thinking I could maybe trade Big Ben or Hasselbeck later on. Eric Decker is also available, not really anyone else of great value

I own both Hightower and Decker and all I can say is I play Decker, and not Hightower... Shanny not only switches RBs, but he does it during the game, not during the week. I'd grab Decker.
Oh, and I do this in a 12 team money league.

I was using Hightower as my flex and he was fairly consistent up until this past weekend (damn Shanahan). I'm getting sort of sick of him and cannot see myself using him in the foreseeable future.

I picked up Lloyd last week (don't know why he was dropped) and he looks to be my new go-to flex guy. Do you think Decker is a better play (sorry for asking a new question, don't think its worth making a new thread) ?

I also have Hightower and Decker and from here on out will be playing Decker in the flex. That is unless Hightower goes a few weeks with solid performances. In your case, it seems like you have a lot of depth at RB anyways, so why not?
