schaub+calvin johnson for brees? WHIR

Postby MWRtodayy » Tue Oct 04, 2011 11:49 pm

qb: schaub
wr: calvin johnson
wr: santana moss
rb:chris johnson
rb:frank gore
te:vernon davis
wr/te:brandon lloyd

bench:beanie wells, fred davis, marques colston, joe flacco, brandon jacobs.

league is .5 for completions, rushing attempts, and receptions.

Should i give calvin johnson+schaub for drew brees? or will that hurt me at wr position.

also another owner is offering me mathew stafford for my beanie wells. thoughts?

I don't really like either of those moves for you. I definitely wouldn't move Johnson + Schaub for for Brees. No way. That's too much. And you don't need Stafford.

You might try Schaub + Wells/Davis for Stafford + WR. If anything you need to upgrade, not downgrade, your WR corps.

considering you get .5 pts for completion you definitely would want to upgrade to brees or stafford here...

I like the trading wells for stafford here...its close but as it decimates your RB depth, but I think you give up to much with Johnson and schaub for Brees,

definitely going to need to trade around flacco and shaub to for a RB though

sell high on wells for sure right now...although stafford is an injury risk in his own regard, i think beanie wells won't be as effective as his was this week against a mediocre giants run d. you have two rb studs with johnson and gore and will be upgrading at qb by giving up depth. after the bye weeks, you will be fine. please help with mine if you get a chance. thanks brother

I wouldnt consider Gore or Johnson studs by any means this year. in standard leagues I wouldn't be surprised at all if they both finished outside the top 12, on the plus side neither of them are in time shares and get .5 pt per attempt in this league so in that case they are very solid options.

I'd pull the trigger QUICKLY on the Stafford for Beanie Wells trade.
Then roll with Schaub and Stafford as QB.
You could jettison Flacco for a RB.
Post FAs.
