Manningham and Jacoby Jones are available on waivers... WHIR

Postby Kale Stille » Wed Oct 05, 2011 9:59 am

Someone dropped Manningham this week, and no one picked up Jacoby Jones. Here's my current WR setup:

Starters: Nicks, Bowe, Wayne
Bench: McCluster, D. Moore, Crabtree

Is it worth dropping one of my bench players to pick up either of these guys?
I like McCluster's WR/RB dual-role versatility.
I feel like D. Moore will lose some touches because Ford and Heyward-Bay are back, but that might lead to him getting matched up against 2nd and 3rd depth CBs, which could yield interesting results.
I also think Crabtree has a lot of upside as the season goes on, as long as he can remain healthy and get in sync with the offense.

Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I dont think JJ will have much effect as the Texans will likely lean on Foster. Manningham is interesting, but I'm not sure I'd drop anyone for him, maybe Crabtree, but he looks like he's coming along nicely. I may wait a week to see how manningham is integrated into the offense before I made a move for him.

I'd grab Manningham for Crabtree. Manningham was the clear cut WR2 until the concussion. Then Cruz came on strong and messed that up for Manningham, but I think that Manningham will still make it back to WR2 next to Nicks.

Some semi-urgent love please: viewtopic.php?t=501442
