14man league h2h standard scoring. Im torn on if i should accept a trade for R.Mathews. In return i would be giving up D.Brees my number 1 qb. But i do have C.Newton as a backup. There are a few reasons im torn . 1. Mathews had a bad season last year. 2. Newton can have a bad season the rest of the year. What do you guyys think? Thomas jones is currently my number 2 back and that is pretty bad . Would u roll the dice and do this trade? Or stay weak at RB2 and wait for a better offer . ALso i tried to counter with Newton but he rejected
QB D.Brees bench C.Newton
RB. MJD, T.Jones, Bench M.Ingram, D.Karim
Wr. R.White, D.Bowe, Bench Julio Jones, D.Branch
TE. J.Finley
K Akers
DEF Tampa bay.

options -
1) accept the deal
2) Shop Newton right now for a running back - his value is pretty high right now so you may be able to get some good returns. You really need some RB help. Perhaps even a Newton + Ingram/Julio Jones might get you a pretty badass RB.
Either option is improving your team, and I don't see why you can't try to do option 2 first and if it doesn't work out, accept the deal. I don't see Brees' value dropping from here on barring injury
any advice?
