So I have been offered Fred Jackson for Finley. I'm in 2nd place in the league, despite injuries to key players. Roster below. 10 Team, 0.5PPR. Start 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 FLEX.
Jared Cook and Dallas Clark are currently on waivers, and I could add him to replace Finley. RB Depth would not hurt this team. This seems like a classic high sell/low buy, with me on the wrong end, but FJax is looking like an every week RB1/RB2 play.
I would take that deal. Finley can still put up duds like the rest of the TEs and I think having a Rice/Jackson tandem would be very powerful. All about value, and Jackson's value i think would make up for the WW TE
Honestly I would try to get more for Finley, because did have 3 TDs a week ago. But if you can't I would still make the trade because like you said Fred Jackson has looked like a good option week after week.
I would absolutely do the trade. Finley is a great TE, but FJax is putting up insane numbers this year. Will definitely be a more solid start than Blount.
Absolutely. Have to do it. I'd consider Finley roughly the equivalent of a good WR2 for fantasy, and I'd definitely trade a WR2 for a RB1/RB2. FJax won't be able to keep it up like this all year, neither will Buffalo, but if you need a 2nd starter, make the deal.
With the format as is, I'd try and trade Blount in addition. I'll bet you can get at least as productive of a TE as Finley for him too. And I'd consider that a huge upgrade at RB.
I think Finley's great, but if you can pick up Cook on WW, and get Jackson, you definitely win in the end. Jackson is a monster in fantasy as he gets most of the carries, and is also the goal line RB.
I'd do the deal. I have Finley in my league and it seems for every great game there are one or two games like last week where he produced 2 points. The teams in my league that are doing the best are the teams with multiple quality backs so I'd go with Jackson.
