I'm in a ten team PPR league that starts 1QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE, and 1 RB/WR/TE.
Here is my team... QB Tony Romo, Cam Newton RB Matt Forte, Ray Rice, Joseph Addai, Ben Tate WR Greg Jennings, Jeremy Maclin, Nate Washington, Reggie Wayne, Santana Moss TE Dallas Clark, Dustin Keller D/ST Texans, Bears K Nick Folk
Here is his team... QB Eli Manning, Matt Hasselbeck RB Chris Johnson, Ryan Matthews, Darren Sproles, Reggie Bush WR Calvin Johnson, Larry Fitzgerald, Wes Welker, Johnny Knox, TE Brent Celek, Antonio Gates D/ST Steelers, Patriots K Jason Hanson, Josh Brown
I have a strong receiving corps but I want to add another top tier WR b/c I usually start 4 each week. He has 3 top WR and not much at RB. I was hoping to downgrade a little on R.Rice for C.Johnson but upgrade a lot on R.Wayne for Larry.
I guess this hinges on whether you think Chris Johnson will actually start being the R1 pick he was this year.
Oh and his top two RB have bye weeks next week so he'd be starting Sproles and Bush next week unless he makes a move.
Here's the list of teams CJ plays next: HOU, IND, CIN, CAR, ATL, TB, BUF, (14) NO, (15)IND, 16 (JAX)
I believe CJ will eventually start tearing teams new ones like he always does. The big questions for me here is, the difference between Wayne and Fitzgerald. I'm not so sure its that vast, being a Fitz owner this year and playing against Wayne twice. Colts are going to be behind a LOT, and whoever's QBing will be looking at his most reliable receiver the most. Meanwhile in Arizona, I'm failing to see why Kolb was a hot commodity and has had some trouble getting the ball to Fitz downfield.
So basically, IMO, you have to believe that CJ will turn it around in a big way to make this trade.
is anyone else seeing sproles and calvin for rice and wayne?
he will still be getting awesome production from his wide outs, have CJ2K and Rice at RB and Mathews in the flex
while you would have a Forte Sproles combo at RB which is a monster in ppr leagues with Calvin Jennings Maclin at WR and Wash in the flex
you could be giving a little too much in this but its not a bad trade for you, him either. Personally i would start with rice/wayne for calvin/mathews, which is awesome, and when he rejects counter with the above model.
