New-Look Team, How does it Look? WHIR!!!

Standard 12-team league, had the misfortune of drafting Charles in the 1st round. Just traded away Calvin Johnson and Reggie Bush for Matt Forte and Plaxico Buress to shore up my weak RBs. How does the team look/should I look to make any trade moves?

Very nice getting Forte. You could afford the loss of Megatron.

Yeah I like that move to get Forte but I dont see any other moves you can make.

I agree on the Forte pickup....I'm in an 8 team league, so I'd imagine your wire options are significantly worse than mine (someone just dropped Julio Jones and Fitzpatrick)

One suggestion on streaming matchups for DST. I typically have at least 1 habitual bench player. So, I'll drop them on Sat or Sun before gametime to pick up NEXT WEEKS DST. Then, I'll drop that week's DST after the game and pick up the best avail WW player and try to package 2 of my players for one slightly better. Sometimes it works, if it doesn't just repeat on Sat/Sun and drop the worst player to pick up the best DST for next week again. I've found that everyone in my league pretty much streams matchups, so you pretty much always assure yourself a top 5 matchup each week this way. Doing this has gotten me 85 points from my DSTs the 1st 4 games.

I'd stick it out for a couple more weeks- I know people who lost Charles who are in a LOT worse situation than you. I think Forte might end the season as the top RB in all of Fantasy Football.

I don't see how you can package anything to upgrade anywhere so I would stay put for now and keep an eye on the WW. Getting forte was a good move.

I know everyone else has said it but...excellent trade. You have Nicks and Rice to soften the blow of Megatron and you add a #1 RB in a position of dire need. Great thinking.

In regards to what else you can do...its kind of tough to say without seeing what other teams have or lack, other factors, etc. But I think for a 12-team league and losing Charles that team looks pretty damn good.

Good move for you since you needed the RB. But kind of hard to give advice on any other trades since I dont know what anyone else's roster is.

If Shonn Greene can produce even the slightest bit you will have a great team going forward.

I think the forte trade really helps. Starks and greene are inconsistent but you just have to wait. Rex said they were going to become a run first team this week so hopefully greene can turn it around. I think starks may fall back to 10-12 carries a game with grant getting the rest...but we will see.
