Stevie Johnson for Steven Jackson WHIR 100%

Should I trade my Stevie Johnson and a 7th round pick for his Steven Jackson and a 5th round pick?
Stevie Johnson can be kept in the 9th round next year. Is this a good trade for me? Or should I try to get a higher draft pick to even it out?


I've desperately been trying to trade for a RB, but have had no luck. So this trade is most likely my best case scenario.

No, Steven Jackson would not be a good keeper since he was a 2nd round pick. Stevie Johnson could be kept in the 9th round, so I would be giving up a great keeper. But I really need a RB.

I think you have to keep Stevie here. He just produces too much.In a system where they aren't scared to throw the ball around, I think his overall value is much better than Jacksons, even long term.

You don't really need Johnson with your WR depth, so I think it's a fine deal for you. Buy since you have great wr depth, have you considered what you might get for Jennings or Austin?

Yeah I have offered Miles and Jennings for any top 10 back but haven't had luck. Everyone wants to keep their RB depth.

Sorry for the misread...man it would be great to keep Johnson 9th round next year! I'de try to shop around some more in that case. Surprising that nobody wants Jennings!

Thanks for mine. I don't think the combination of SJax and a 5th rounder is enough. SJax and a 3rd rounder? Maybe. 2nd round? Definitely. I recall from another post you have solid keeper options outside of Stevie J, so this is a trade you can make if the draft pick you get in return is high enough. Good luck!

but bench don't give you any production, and you have enough depth on RB to replace flex or knox if he start produce.

make the trade, but i would image other team benefit more than you do, however, it's win/win
