Return to Draft, Trade, & Waiver Questions

The trade is as follows:
I receive:
Adrian Peterson
I send to him:
Issac Redman
Santonio Holmes
Ryan Fitzpatrick
He was in desperate need for a QB. He drafted Peyton Manning and Eli Manning. He grabbed Henne as Eli's backup and has Ben Roethlisberger on his roster as well. The scoring is 6 points per passing TD, 1 point per every 20 yards passing and the rest is standard scoring. The sad thing on his part was just last week I offered him Nicks, Wells and Fitzpatrick for Peterson and he declined and this is the offer he gave me today.

I dunno the chances it'll get vetoed, but I'd take that in a heartbeat.

Chances it doesn't get vetoed? 68.14%

But seriously ... who knows?! It depends on the other guys in the league. Some managers are vetoers, others aren't. If it's a money league, trades are more likely to vetoed. Also, vetoes could happen more with public leagues with strangers (some people just like vetoing any trade they think improves a team or two). It's hugely unbalanced in your favor. What I don't get is if he has Eli and Ben, why is he desperate for a QB? Is this a start 2QB league? If it is, then this trade becomes a lot more reasonable. High scoring QBs are gold in those leagues. And with as horrible as Ben's been (not his fault ... his o-line is awful), I can understand the desperation in wanting Fitz. And if it's start 1 QB - there's still a justification for the other side. It shouldn't be vetoed. But that doesn't always mean it won't be.
Help in return?

Shouldnt get vetoed. If it helps both teams then it is a valid trade. QB heavy leagues require you to have a good one, and Fitz has been pretty good

Thanks for the help everyone. The trade went through last night without any anyone denying it.
Schmidty, the reason he was desperate for a QB is because he really don't like Eli Manning (Cowboy's fan) and Ben isn't going to get it done for him behind that offensive line and with his injury now. He's been looking to replace Eli for a few weeks and Eli is now my new backup so it worked out all around for me I think

That's a great trade for you! I'm glad it didn't get vetoed, even though it did seem a little lopsided in your favor. AP will be a huge upgrade at RB and you aren't giving up a whole lot to get him.
Please help me out when you have a chance -
