12 Team PPR league. Currently 2-2 but my backs have been struggling with injuries. I recently picked up Michael Bush off the wire. He has been getting some decent numbers as a backup lately, and I figured he had a ton of upside if DMF went down. Stevan Ridley is currently a Free Agent and it seems like there might be some potential there. Should I stick with Bush or drop him and pick up Ridley?
(Some other RB Free Agents are Cadillac Williams, Helu and Hardesty)
I'm currently carrying CJ2K, Wells, S. Jackson, Addai, and Bush.

It depends on if you need to start either one of them right away. In the short-term, Ridley has more value. He had a productive game last week, and if he continues to get carries in the next few weeks he'll have more value. If you don't need to start either one right away, then I think that Bush has more appeal sitting on the bench waiting for DMC to go down. He has a history of injuries, so I'd like to think that at some point later in the season, Michael Bush will see more work, and when he does, he will have way more value than Ridley.

I think short-term and long-term, Ridley is the answer! He wont put up huge numbers each week because cleary NE is a pass first offense... but if that offense takes comfortable lead into the late 3rd quarter, they will run the ball. BJGE will get the goalline carries but Ridley is a talented backup and could be the #1 if BJGE went down.
With DMC, I personally think he is going to lead the league in rushing this year. He's the new AP IMO. Bush is going to sit the bench alot this year...

I think Bush is actually pretty solid. I think he'll continue to get TDs at the goal line and be startable as a flex play. Ridley has tons of potential, but on a NE team that runs so little, I think his ceiling is basically what BJGE gave us last year... which isn't bad, but thats only IF he even gets the opportunity ahead of woodhead & the incumbent. Bush is the safer choice for me.
