The team that has Tom Brady has Cam Newton as a backup, but he needs help at WR. Will Cam Newton be able to keep scoring like this, and will he be a big improvement over my QB's, Matt Schaub and Eli Manning? Newton is #3 in scoring in our league behind Ridgers and Brady, 1 point ahead of Brees; Eli is 8th and Schaub is 16th. The scoring for our league is 1 pt per 25 pass yards, 1 pt per 10 rush/rec yards, 6 pts per pass/run/rec TD.
I suppose it comes down to whether or not Cam can keep up his 1 TD rushing and 35+ pass attempts per game, or will defenses start to game plan better for him? His passing TD:INT ratio is only 5:5, about what I'd expect for a rookie QB, but not for a top fantasy QB without the extra production.
My team:
QB: Schaub, E.Manning (start 1)
RB: Chris Johnson, Hillis, Bradshaw, Addai, Tate (start 2)
REC: Roddy White, Nicks, Bryant, Steve Johnson, Dallas Clark (start 3)
His team:
QB: Brady, Newton
RB: Foster, Jones-Drew, Benson, Green-Ellis, DeAngelo Williams
REC: Welker, Colston, Manningham, Hines Ward, Ochocinco
I was going to offer Steve Johnson or Dez Bryant + Schaub for Newton and Ochocinco if you think that improves my team. Leave a link and I will help in return. Thanks!
